Merkel went to the leauge of nations and explained. "The people of Germany understand why some of you might be
uneasy with our actions and I want all of you to understand. We do not treat these people as captives of my will,
we give them paying jobs, increased food production, better infanstructure. Come to our 'conqured nations' and see."

"In lands where having food every day was a status symbol, it is now the norm. They are our people, my people and I
could not stand to watch them suffer any longer with illnesses that were long wiped out in Germany.
Did it occur to any of you that your citizens would enjoy a better standard of life in Germany than they normally do?"
